PURPOSE:To prevent the overflow state of a pump during the driving, by providing a vent pipe and an automatic valve in the pipe at the delivery side of the pump while when one pump is tripping the signal is received to open the automatic valve thus to increase the resistance of the device. CONSTITUTION:A vent pipe 10 and an automatic valve 11 are provided in front of a discharge path 5, and when one of two normally operating pumps is tripped the automatic valve 11 will open by the trip signal to eliminate the siphon effect of the piping thus to increase the system resistance by DELTAh. Consequently other pumps will perform the rated operation thus to prevent the overflow. |
