PURPOSE:To make on-line discrimination of cutting condition and take a proper measure by comparing a shape measurement signal of inside weld zone of a blank pipe received by an optical image receiving device with a reference inside shape signal of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:Slit light coming from a cylindrical lens 6 is irradiated onto a weld zone after cutting bead at the inside of a blank pipe 1 through mirrors 8, 9 and the reflected light is received by a television camera 7 through a mirror 10. The received shape signal corresponding to the profile of the weld zone after cutting the beads obtained by the camera is inputted to a CRT13, and further inputted to an analyzing device 14. The difference between the arithmetic expression corresponding to reference inner face and the shape measurement signal is calculated by an artihmetic device 15. Thus, the result of arithmetic is indicated on a recorder 16 and on-line discrimination of cutting condition is effected. |
