PURPOSE:To effectively cool the frontal portion of receiving port when molds are removed by using a system in which the high-temperature zone of an outer mold is made up of a hot mold piece and also the low-temperature zone is made up of a cold metal piece so that the inside diameter of the frontal portion of the receiving port is made smaller than that of the rear portion of the port. CONSTITUTION:For molds through which a plastic pipe joint having a receiving port with a groove A to be fitted with a rubber ring is molded by injection, the inside diameter R1 of the frontal portion B of the receiving port is made smaller than that R2 of the rear portion C of the port, and also the high-temperature zone of the outer mold 1 is made up of a hot mold piece 11 and the low-temperature zone is made up of a cold mold piece 12. And, when the core mold 2 is removed and moved, the frontal portion B of the receiving port is opened up forcibly by the low-temperature zone 22 of the core mold, the hot mold piece 11 of the outer mold is cooled to a given temperature after slipping out, and immediately after slipping out and moving the core mold 2, the frontal portion B of the receiving port is adjusted and molded, together with the groove to be fitted with the rubber ring, by the mold piece 11. |
