PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of protocol conversion, by converting a command into plural commands according to the contents of the command and at a moment when the command is received to transmit these commands to the receiver side and at the same time providing plural command converting functions to transmit an answer command to the transmitter side, etc. CONSTITUTION:A protocol converter 3 is set between systems 1 and 2 having different network architectures, and the following converting functions are provided to the converter 3. That is, a command a1 is received to be converted into commands a1' and a1'', and the answer of the a1 is sent back when answers a1' and a1'' are received; a command a2 is received to be converted into a command a2', and this answer is sent back with the a2; command b1 is received, and the answer is transmitted to the transmitter of the b1; a command c1 received and converted into a command c1' to be transmitted, and the answer of the c1' is received; and a command d1 is received and then converted into a command d1', and at the same time the answer of the d1 is sent to the transmitter of the d1. In such a way, each system can perform the communication with use of a command within its own system, and no increment is caused for the process load with each system. |
