PURPOSE:To perform the stable monitor for overcurrent, by cutting off the power supply to a switching control element at the primary side of a power supply transformer in case the load becomes extraordinarily heavy. CONSTITUTION:An input power supply is converted from a primary side transformer part to a secondary side transformer part of a power supply transformer part T, and a DC output is supplied to the load side. Then a stable DC output is supplied to the load fluctuation of the DC output after changing the amplitude through a pulse duration controlling element 7. In case the load becomes extraordinarily heavy, the input current flows in an abnormal way. Then a transistor TR1 works when a thyristor D1 reaches its working point. As a result, the level of the voltate Vcc of the element 7 becomes equal to the earth level to cut off the power supply to the element 7. Accordingly, the power consumption is reduced to ensure the stable monitor for the overcurrent. |
