摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To lower the running cost of a titled operating system, by producing periodically the start signal for power supply through a timepiece device and then producing the stop signal for power supply when the collection of data is over. CONSTITUTION:A river information processor 1 consists of an MODEM2 that collects the data, telemeter device 3, a data collector 4, a processor 5 that processes and stores the data, a CRT device 6 that delivers the data, a graphic panel 7 and a typewriter 8. The processor 1 is connected to a power distributing device 9 that supplies the power to each machinery as well as to observation centers A11 and B12 that observe the water level and the flow rate of a river, the rainfall, the water level of a dam, etc. via a communication circuit 16. At the same time, the device 9 is connected to a timepiece device 10 that produces the start signal of power supply by the control signal 14 to supply the power to the units 2-8 of the processor 1 via a power supply 15. In a normal state, the device 10 supplies periodically and automatically the power and then cut off automatically the power supply by the processor 5 after collection of the data. A continuous operation is carried out by turning on the power switch in the case of a flood, a water famine, etc.</p>
