PURPOSE:To prevent any charge phenomenon of the sealing part of an image pickup device, and increase the ratio of the signal to the noise to a large extent by earthing the said sealing part by means of a conductive member having a high resistance value. CONSTITUTION:A holder 14 touching a ring 6 used as the sealing part of an image pickup tube 1 is formed of a conductive resin, which has a high resistance in the range of 1-100KOMEGA and is prepared by mixing a resin such as Teflon with a small amount of a conductive metal powder. The conductive holder 14 made of a resin is fixed between a shield case 11 and a shield ring 12 so as to make the front part of the tube 1 to be fixed and the held on the central axis of a bobbin 9 by making the ring 6 to be in contact with a light-transmitting light incidence screen plate 3, and so as to make electric resistance across the ring 6, the shield case 11 and the shield ring 12 to be high. As a result, any generation of charge of the sealing part can be prevented, and the ratio of the signal to the noise can be greatly increased. |
