PURPOSE:To previously detect a fault of a computer before execution of a normal program, by outputting a delay diagnosis result defective status in case the diagnosis result is effective or defective signal is not supplied within a prescribed period of time. CONSTITUTION:A diagnosis start signal STR is supplied when a self-diagnosis is carried out for a computer C. Then a diagnosis program is started, and at the same time a mono-multi MM is triggered. In case the computer C is normal, an effective or defective result of diagnosis SDY or SDN is outputted based on a diagnosis program. Thus the MM is reset to inhibit the output of a delay diagnosis result defective signal DSDN is inhibited. In case no signal SDY nor SDN is delivered due to a fault, etc., the signal DSDN is outputted from the MM. Then a delay diagnosis result defective status DSDNS is outputted. |
