PURPOSE:To attain dynamic switching between an electronic computer and a peripheral device, by carrying out the switching after deciding the presence or absence of the use of a signal system by a switchig device in case plural peripheral devices with which two electronic computers are connected to a common input/output signal system have an information output request. CONSTITUTION:Electronic computers 1 and 2 of the 1st and 2nd systems are connected to peripheral devices 1r-ir via a switching device 3 and a common input/output signal system 11. In case the computer 1 delivers the information to the device ir, the computer 1 delivers the device number of the ir. Thus the device 3 stores this device number into an input buffer 4. A gate controller 8 decides the information output request that is given from the computer 1 or 2. Then a gate 6 is opened as long as the computer 2 uses no system 11 to perform the output of imformation between the computer 1 and the device ir. When the computer 2 uses the system 11, a busy signal is supplied to the computer 1. This switching is not carried out fixedly but carried out dynamically every time when an information output is given to the peripheral device from the computer. |
