PURPOSE:To enable easy sorting without using plural sorters in a copier having a circulation type original handling device, by inserting a sorting sheet at each cycle of original handling into the stack of the originals. CONSTITUTION:A circulation type original handling device 10 successively feeds set of originals 11 arranged on an original stack, and papers 42 are fed successively from a lower paper tray 40 to a transfer section to make copies and to be piled up on a stack 50. A switch 15 installed on the circulation route 14 is actuated at each passing of the original, upon completion of one cycle its signal is produced to suspend the action of the device 10 and feed of the papers from the tray 40 at a time, and a sorting sheet 32 is fed from a tray 30 to pile it on the copies 42. A switch 33 produces a signal of passing of the sheet 32 to restart action of the device 10, thus permitting sorted copies to be stacked. |
