PURPOSE:To perform copying in which defective transfer, drop-out, etc. do not occur in any part of the entire surface of transfer paper by successively providing a transfer electrostatic charger for minus voltage application, the 1st conductive member and the 2nd conductive member for positive voltage application in a transfer section. CONSTITUTION:The 1st conductive member (conductor roller 7) of a transfer electrostatic charger 2, and the 2nd conductive member (conductor belt 10) put on a pulley 8 are provided along the circumferential surface of a photosensitive drum 1 in order of the revolving direction shown by arrows. Minus voltage of the polarity reversed from that of the toner is applied on the charger 2 by a voltage application circuit 11. The similar minus voltage is applied on the roller 7 as well by the similar circuit 12, and further the voltage of plus reverse from that of the charger 2 is applied on the belt 10 by a circuit 13. Full surface transfer and perfect separation are achieved with the simple constitution and the good toner image transfer is accomplished. |
