PURPOSE:To obtain a constant beam interval without any influence of the physical size of an opening by using a step horn as a primary radiator supplied maximum electric power and a different horn as the other primary radiator. CONSTITUTION:A primary radiator 41 supplied with maximum electric power is composed of a step horn. Normal circular horns 42 and 43 are provided over and on the primary side of the horn 41 so that their opening surfaces are nearly coincident. Those horns 41-43 are arranged opposite to a reflecting mirror so that, e.g. the horn 41 is on the focus of the reflecting mirror. Consequently, the mutual intervals of the primary radiators are narrowed down as compared with those when all primary radiators use step horns. Electric power supplied to the horns 42 and 43 is less than that supplied to the horn 41. Consequently, a cross polarization component is also reduced in proportion to the reduction of electric power, so that the deterioration of cross polarization characteristics is ignored. |
