PURPOSE:To enable a looped transmission line and a transmitting and receiving circuit to diagnose themselves, by using the looped transmission line of a stand- by system or in-use system. CONSTITUTION:A panel 31, a processor 32, a storage part 33, and a transmitting and receiving circuit 34 are provided. With a switch on the panel 31, the processor 32 is actuated by an interruption signal 105. This processor 32 reads data 103 from the panel 31 to judge which of the looped transmission lines of an in- use system and a stant-by system is to be used, and executes a diagnostic program stored in the storage part 33. The processor 32 also controls the circuit 34 by using a control signal 104 and a data bus 101 according to the contents of the diagnostic program. |
