PURPOSE:To enable to generate a hot air flow by a method wherein a heater and a controlling vane capable of controlling the direction of airflow by rotating are provided in the interior of a crossflow fan. CONSTITUTION:When a motor is turned on by an air amount control knob, the crossflow fan 2 is started to rotate clockwise. In this case, since the position and the shape of the controlling vane 4 are so set as to restrict a low-pressure vortex A, the air flowing on the outside of the vane 4 is attracted by the vortex A and flows in the direction of B to C along the vane 4. Next, then a heater 37 is turned on by a heater knob, the air flowing from B to C is heated to generate a hot air flow. Accordingly, the direction of airflow can be deflected to any desired circumferential direction by controlling the position of the low-pressure vortex A of the crossflow fan 2 by the controlling vane 4. |
