PURPOSE:To easily detect temperature and abrasion of a brake, by providing a sensor storing a heat sensible element, on a lining part of the brake, and constituting it so that an alarm is raised when it has reached a prescribed temperature, and also when a part of the sensor has been worn out together with the lining part. CONSTITUTION:When a brake is used continuously, temperaure of a sensor part 7 provided on a prescribed position of a lining part 1 of the brake rises, and when it reaches a dangerous temperature, an output of the sensor 7 turns on a lamp 22 through a comparator 20 and a lamp driving circuit 21. When a bottom surface 11 of a case 10 of the sensor 7 is scraped off due to abrasion as a result of use extending over many hours, a heat sensible element 8 becomes a disconnected state, and resistance between external wires 16, 17 becomes infinite. In this case, the lamp 22 is turned on by the lamp driving circuit 21. In this way, temperature and abrasion of the brake are detected easily. |
