PURPOSE:To obtain uniform bias-light on a photoelectric conversion surface by shielding the transmission of bias-light between the inner surface of the outside covering glass tube and the outside surface of an electron gun by installing a light-shielding body between the surfaces described the above. CONSTITUTION:The light-shielding body 9 formed by arranging the metal plates having a low light reflection factor in ring form is arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the photoelectric conversion surface 7 of the third grid 1, in contact with the inner surface of an outside covering glass tube 4. The supporting contact leaf for preventing the eccentric arrangement and the angular deflection of the electron gun constituent not shown in the figure is normally installed on the photoelectric conversion surface 7 side of the third grid 1, and said contact leaf causes hindrance for installation of the light-shielding body 9. So the contact leaf is fixedly installed by shifting the leaf a little to the rear cone part 2 side of the third grid 1. With such a constitution, the light leaked between the outside covering glass tube 4 and the third grid 1 from a light source 6 is perfectly shielded, and light is not introduced onto the photoelectric conversion surface 7. |
