PURPOSE:To improve a producibility of winding machine by a method wherein a plurality of chuck attaching bodies for attaching in a multistep shape a chuck for inserting a core are permitted to engage with the circumferential face of an axial body making an intermittent rotation and the chuck attaching bodies are mounted shiftably along the center line of the axial body. CONSTITUTION:An axial body 205 connected to an intermittent rotation driver 202 provided in a machine frame 201 and a coupling 203 is supported by a bearing 204 at the other end and for example two guide slots are provided along the center line on the circumferential face of the body 205. Chuck attaching bodies 207, 207'... for attaching in a multistep shape chucks 209, 209'... for inserting a core thereinto are permitted to engage vertically and shiftably with the guide slot. The core is taken out by a holding mechanism 102 from a pellet A and is attached to the chuck 209 at the extreme lower end, afte the chuck attaching body 207 has been inserted to the chuck 209 by moving it gradually to the lower position, and shifted to a winding machine 3 at the opposite side by an intermittent rotation driver to perform a winding operation. During the winding operation, after the core wound in the chuck of the chuck attaching body 207' has been removed, a new core is mounted newly. |
