PURPOSE:To eliminate loss in transmitting power from a crank shaft to a pump, by arranging a pump driving shaft coaxially with the crank shaft to rotate together with the same, and driving the pump directly by the crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:When the engine is set into rotation, a crank shaft 21 starts rotation and a driving shaft 22 is rotated together with the crank shaft 21 in a unitary manner. Resultantly, a rotor 27 of a pump 26 is turned in a direction shown by an arrow A in the drawing, and vanes 28 project outwards from the rotor 27 by the function of pressure acted in chambers 32 and centrifugal force produced by the rotation of rotor 27. The vanes 28 slide along the inner surface of a cam ring 29 along with rotation of the rotor 27 and discharge work fluid in fluid chambers 30, 31 to the outside from outlet ports 49, 50 in the same way as in a conventional vane pump. Thus, since the pump 26 is driven directly by the crank shaft 21 of the engine, loss of power transmission can be eliminated. |
