PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent excessive concentration of a gaseous mixture by providing a valve mechanism which is opened only when a suction is generated in an auxiliary acceleration pump fuel chamber upon cooling of the engine, in the percolation preventive device in an auxiliary acceleration pump. CONSTITUTION:During the cooling of the engine, thermolocks 5 are compressed and a piston is lowered. A diaphragm 14 is moved in the right-hand direction by the negative pressure, and a fuel in a float chamber 18 is introduced into an auxiliary pump fuel chamber 15 through a check ball 19. At the time of acceleration, the negative pressure is lowered. Hence, the diaphragm moves in the left-hand direction and the fuel is discharged from an acceleration nozzle 21 through a check ball 23. At the high temperature time, the piston 6 rises up, and the passage 10 is opened to the atmospheric air side. A leak valve 12 is presed down to open a space between passages 15 and 17 are close a space between passage 16 and the atmospheric air side, and the diaphragm 14 moves in the left- hand direction, and the fuel is returned to the float chamber. Accordingly, fuel causing percolation can be reduced. |
