PURPOSE:To make possible to convert energy of a pressurized fluid highly effectively into rotational motion, by driving each reciprocal cylinder through two pairs of fluid control valves that alternatively open and close in accordance with rotation of a rotary plate. CONSTITUTION:In a step A, the positions of the first and second reciprocal cylinders 1, 1', and control valves 10, 11, 12, 13, 10', 11', 12', 13' are as shown in the drawing. In these positions, the pressurized fluid from a pressure supply sorce 14 passes through the first control valve 10 that is in the open state to flow into a rear chamber Y of the first reciprocal cylinder 1 where it pushes the piston to move the stretchable rod 1a forward thereby rotating the rotary plate 2 in the direction shown by an arrow. At this time, the pressurized fluid in a forward chamber X is discharged through the second control valve 11 that is in the open state, and the third and fourth control valves 12, 13 are in the closed state. Thus, the energy of the pressurized fluid is highly effectively converted into rotational movement. |
