<p>Scoops are made from a sheet of semi-rigid material shaped with integral tabs and slots to fold and lock one end of the panel to maintain a concave form. The necessary pattern is cut, by e.g. die stamping from a flat sheet of e.g. polypropylene typically 0.8-1.5 mm thick depending on the size and stiffness scoop reqd. The sheet may be cut or perforated to facilitate separation off of liquids. Light, corrosion-resistant, require less storage space than conventional metal or other rigid scoops.</p> |
