PURPOSE:To reduce the number of component parts of a runner used in a fan, by constructing blades and support members in a unitary manner by way of extrusion molding. CONSTITUTION:Outer ends of blades 1 are located along a circle 6 drawn around the axisIof rotation of a runner, and the blades 1 themselves are arranged to extend along the axis of rotation. On the other hand, outer ends of support members 2a, 2b are located along a circle 7 also drawn around the axisIof rotation, and the support members 2a, 2b extend in the direction of intersecting the blades 1. That is, the support members 2a, 2b have a circular cross section and are arranged to extend helically along the inner surface of a cylindrical member 8 constituted by the blades 1, in the same direction but with the phases of helix of the support members 2a, 2b being shifted 180 degrees from each other. Here, the greater the angle of the support members 2 to the axisI, the more the number of contacts between the blades 1 and support members 2, so that deformation of the runner caused in its operation can be reduced and its strength can be increased. |
