<p>The primary winding of two drive transformers is connected via a drive transistors to one DC terminal and the secondary winding is connected to the control circuit of each power transistor. A further transformer has two windings connected to the main current path of the power transistors and another to one end of the primary windings of the drive transformer. This couples a fraction of the current through a conducting power transistor to its control circuit. A capacitor across each primary winding and drive transistor provides additional blocking voltage to the nonconducting power transistor.</p> |
