PURPOSE:To facilitate the loading of a new printing roll paper by automatically discharging the paper roll when the residue reaches a fixed level detecting it. CONSTITUTION:When the winding diameter of a printing roll paper 1-1 reduces to reaches a fixed value, a microswitch 8 is turned ON and a microprocessor 9 halts the printing while applying a triggering signal to a one shot multivibrator 15. In response to this triggering signal, the vibrator 15 generates a signal to open an AND gate 16 for a fixed time while a step pulse signal SP input thereinto 16 drives a pulse motor 13. A sufficient time is set for the turning ON of the vibrator 15 to discharge the printing roll paper left. |
