The H section beam (8) supports the top edge of the slab (4) which forms the exterior wall of the building. The interior face (8a) of a wing of the beam is perpendicular to the central zone (8b). The other internal face having an obtuse angle to form a draw, while a rectangular section rail (15) is bedded into beam face (8a). The outside face of slab (4) bears against the beam face, and the top edge of the slab comes up to the level of the rail (15) so as to leave free a space (F) between the slab top edge and the central zone of the beam.
