<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a leak of fuel due to deformation of a fuel tank in a device supporting the fuel tank to the rear under floor part of an automobile, by securing a rear part of the fuel tank to a car body through a supporting member allowably deformed through deformation in the vicinity of a rear floor part caused at the time of collision. CONSTITUTION:A floor panel 2 is reinforced by a floor side memeber 1 and formed with a spare tire storage part 21, and a fuel tank 3 is supported to the lower of the floor panel 2. Then a front part of the fuel tank 3 is secured with a flange 32 of its peripheral flange 31 to said member 1 through a front supporting member 6, further its rear part is secured to a car body side through a rear supporting member 7. The rear supporting member 7 is constituted by a base part 72, supporting a rear flange 33 of the fuel tank 3 and fixed to the bottom of said storage part 21 by a bolt engaged to an engagement hole 71, and an arm part 73, extended from both ends of the base part in a state of crossing the storage part 21 from below and fixed to the member 1. Then the engagement hole 71 is engaged toward the front further a neck part 74 is formed to a section without a corner.</p> |
