<p>The frame is comprised of two uprights (1) of moulded or injectedmaterial, and two traverse beams (3, 17) made of wood or other material. The uprights (1) are slit on all of their width and almost on all of the height to provide for a profiled slot (11) allowing to stretch the soft foundation (2) of combed and reinforced wax comprising on its edges complementary profiles (12). The foundation is mounted after assembly of the two uprights (1) of the frame on the lower traverse beam (17) and is tensioned only after fitting the second traverse beam (3) in the portions (14) of the head of the uprights (1) and the locking thereof by means of the lips (22). The frame and its foundation form then a rigid and undissociable assembly. The ends (13) of the foundation (2) which go beyond each side of the frame are easily trimmed. The foundation (2) is maintained under tension by spring forming parts (20, 35) located on the uprights (1) and tending to push back the latter from the traverse beams (3, 17). The profiles (12) of the foundation (2) may be reinforced by sections integer with the armature, the combing being effected according to a direction parallel to those profiles.</p> |
