The arrangement is intended for holding a pair of spectacles (2-5) in position in the pocket of a garment. It consists of a spring clip (8) whose forward end (9) is secured to (11) or integral with one hinged (6) side member (3), e.g. adjacent to the hinge (as shown). The clip may be secured by a U-section clamping portion (as shown) or by rivets, screws, welding, soldering, adhesive etc. and may be in metal or plastic. A number of different arrangements are described and illustrated.
