Car position map display calibration - involves manually placing cursor on known coordinates which are then manually entered into computer
摘要

The device is used to show the position of a car on a map. There are several maps, and after the map has been changed, the two drive units operating at right angles to each other are readjusted, to ensure that the cursor showing the position of the car is in the right position. A navigation computer is used to control the movement of the cursor over the map. The recalibration or readjustment procedure involves manually placing the cursor on known coordinates. The coordinates for this point are manually fed into the computer, and may relate to the Mercator co-ordinate of a map reference.PS.
