In order to provide a conveyor as specified above which is not only easy to manufacture and instal but also can be got out of virtually without risk, it is proposed according to the invention that the device consist of a support element (1) which is to be attached above the conveyor (10) and a frame (2), or the like, which is rotatably mounted on the latter, the frame (2), or the like, being equipped in its outer region or regions with a plurality of cables (8), or the like.
