PURPOSE:To obtain the time for stopping and the amount of sliding of a press slide by generating reflection stripes on the end face of a driving mechanism of the press slide and detecting time from sending out of a press stop command signal to synchronization of cycles of two pulses by comparing the pulse of reflected beam with the pulse of fixed cycle. CONSTITUTION:Beam reflection stripes are generated radially from the axial point on the end face of a crank shaft 1 which is a driving mechanism of a press slide. When a beam is irradiated from a beam irradiating device 8, the end face of the crank shaft 1 is irradiated circularly through a constant speed rotating mirror 6 and a fixed mirror 7 and at every rotation of the constant speed rotating mirror 6 the light beam hits the reflection stripes and reflected and returns to a reflecting mirror 9 and detected by a beam detector 10. On the other hand, a beam detector 12 detects the beam of fixed cycle coming from the beam irradiation device 8. The pulse of the beam and the pulse of reflected beam are compared, and time from sending out of the press stop command signal to synchronization of the cycles of two pulses is detected. |
