NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formulaI{A is chain hydrocarbon or aryl which may be substituted by a group such as aryl, (meth) acryloyloxy, aryl, halogen, alkyl, a group shown by the formula II[R is aryl, acryloyloxy (halogen substituted) lower alkyl, etc.]}. EXAMPLE:A compound shown by the fromula III. USE:A filling compounded resin for dental curing having improved compression strength, hardness, wear resistance, etc. PROCESS:For example, a solution of 2-hydroxyethyl acryalte and puridine in methylene chloride is reacted with phosphorus oxychloride which is added dropwise, at 0-10 deg.C for 2hr. The reaction product is added to ice, washed with an acid, an alkali, and water successively, and dried to give the example compound shown by the formula III.
