1. Device for ball or cup planting comprising a chassis (2) carried by at least two wheels (3) and comprising at least one planting unit (11) consisting of a dispensing-perforating-stamping wheel (13) comprising ball-distributing means and dibbles (14) distributed regularly on its periphery, which wheel (13) is mounted for rotation on the chassis (2) to arrive on the ground in a substantially perpendicular position in order to imprint holes therein according to a regular pitch, for placing the balls or cups therein (8) characterized in that it is composed : - of a passage (12) downwardly inclined from the front to the back of the chassis (2) to convey the balls (8) from the upper part to close to the ground, which passage (12) is arranged on one of the sides of the said distributing-perforating-stamping wheel (13) and comprises means for moving in the transverse direction, the balls (8) which have reached its lower rear end, from that end towards the distributing-perforating-stamping wheel (13), the said means working synchronously with said latter so that each ball is pushed towards the said wheel (13) at each passage of the said ball and cup-distributing means (14) ; - means for supplying the said passage (12) ; - and in that the distributing-perforating-stamping wheel (13) comprises radial distributing tubes (13b) fixed on the face of the wheel (13) which is situated on the side of the inclined passage (12) which wheel (13) further comprises, at the end of the tubes (13b), situated on the side of the centre of the wheel, push-tongues (13k) for driving the balls (8) coming from the passage (12), and opposite each of said tongues (13k) a pushplate (13c) hingedly mounted on the wheel (13) to take each ball coming out of the passage (12) with the tongue (13k) to hold it and release it so that it falls by gravity and through a tube (13b) to be deposited in one of the holes made by the wheel (13) by means of the dibbles (14). |
