A soil fungicidal composition containing as effective ingredients 4-methylsulfonyloxyphenyl-N-methyl thiolcarbamate: (FORMULA) and 1-isopropylcarbamoyl-3-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)hydantoin: (FORMULA) This composition shows a synergistic effect and is useful against damping-off of rice plant or cucumber, phytophtora rot of cucumber, and brown patch, pythium patch, and rust of turf.
