PURPOSE:To bring a magnetic tape into contact with the front face of a magnetic head more surely, by providing a pad consisting of an elastic material so that a hollow part is formed in the back of the contact face of the magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:A pad 14 is formed into a hollow rectangular parallelepiped with an elastic material such as rubber and foamed rubber. Since a hollow part 16 is provided in the back of the contact face of a magnetic head 13, a tape 2 slides well along the front curved face of the head 13. A flush member 15 may be provided in the front of the pad. |
