PURPOSE:To construct a foundation in a sludgy sand ground under water without polluting water and with saved power for the construction work by a method in which the half-built bottom of a formwork is floated at the construction site and cement mortar is poured into the formwork and settled while adding the formwork. CONSTITUTION:Iron bars 4 are set in the space of a water-tight hollow portion at the upper opening of a formwork 1 with a half-built bottom to be buried 11. The formworks 1 are towed to a construction site and combined upwardly while being floated by means of a working ship, etc., and while assembling the iron bars 4, cement mortar is placed into the formworks as they expand and gradually settled to the bottom. And, a scaffold is temporarily mounted on the upper part of the formwork 1 exposed on the water surface and then an excavator is set on the scaffold. Then, sluddy sand within the formwork 1 is removed and small pebbles 10, etc., are packed. While connecting another formwork 1 with the formworks by a connector 5, a foundation is constructed. |
