PURPOSE:To prevent distortion and non-linear distortion accompanied with sampling from being generated, by limiting the signal band with an optical filter and the eliminating the sampling signal component with signal subtraction. CONSTITUTION:A video signal picked up from a solid-state image pickup device 1 is processed at a preamplifier 3 and a sample hold circuit 4. A signal S1 processed is inputted to an addition circuit 9 and applied to a high pass filter HPF 7. A sampling signal component only appears at the output of the HPF 7 and this output is applied to an addition circuit 9 via a phase compensation circuit 8. In this case, the phase and amplitude level of signal from the HPF are suitably compensated to form a signal S2 with 180 degree phase difference to the clock component included in the signal S1. As a result, the clock component only is subtracted between the signals S1 and S2 at the addition circuit. Further, an integration circuit 10 is provided to eliminate the sampling signal further. |
