PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency, by adding a bit discriminating if a signal is information consisting of a data signal and a control signal or only the control signal, and transmitting signals after converting a parallel signal into a serial signal. CONSTITUTION:A parallel signal consists of contol signals T1-Tl and a data signal, and the control signals include information if the transmission of data signal is succeedingly required. The control signal is initially set to a parallel serial conversion circuit 51 together with a start bit ST. The control signal is also inputted to a long frame detection circuit 53. The circuit 53 inputs a data signal to a parallel serial conversion circuit 52 where the control signal and the data signal are converted into a serial signal, when the circuit 52 recognizes the necessity of transmission of data signal. If the transmission of data signal is not required, only the control signal is converted into a serial signal. As a result, the time for transmission can be reduced if the conversion of data signal is not required. |
