PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction of a camera in advance through misrecognition of white balance, by displaying a display signal to a part of an object of a TV camera, through the output of a pickup signal for a timing and time width for chroma signal in which the level is coincident with an automatic white balance circuit. CONSTITUTION:Color signals R, G, B from a white balance circuit are applied to red, green and blue signal level detectors 24-26 of a white balance display circuit 17, the respective signal level is detected and inputted to an amplitude selection mixing circuit 30 and a B signal of the highest object or white object W' or W'' are selected for output. The output signal is applied to a comparator 31, the signal is compared with the level of a detector 25 used as a reference signal, a pickup signal M-N is outputted from the comparator 31 and a display signal from a display signal generator 32 is picked up with the signal M-N by gating the display signal at a gate circuit 33. The signal is added to a mixer 34, it is superimposed on the video signal of the finder, and display is made by adding the display signal to the white balance. |
