PURPOSE:To shorten the access time after stop, by stopping a high-speed movement with a position, which is shifted from a recording position designated for access in the reverse direction by a predetermined prescribed position, as a target. CONSTITUTION:A CPU of a microcomputer 40 adds an address mu corresponding to a predetermined extent of shift to an inputted target address. The CPU stores this target address +mu in an RAM. At the access start, the CPU subtracts an initial address from the target address +mu and operates the turn-on duration of the high-speed movement signal given to a motor driving circuit 32. After the elapse of the turn-on duration, the CPU stops the high-speed movement. A prescribed pulse signal is given to a movable mirror driving circuit 33 to perform the access processing due to track change. |
