<p>PURPOSE:To make the removing device small-sized, by providing a blade which cuts the coating part of an optical fiber core in the direction of a groove, a holding plate which holds the optical fiber core, and a connector which connects a substrate and the holding plate. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 4 is provided with a guide 5 for guiding an optical fiber core, and a blade 6 to cut the coating part of the optical fiber core is fitted in the direction where the coating part of the optical fiber core is cut in the direction of the groove, and the substrate 4 and a holding plate 7 are connected by a connector 8. In case of removal of the secondary coating, the optical fiber core is inserted to the groove 5, and the optical fiber core is held by the holding plate, and one or two provided blades 6 and 6' are used to tear off the secondary coating from the optical fiber strand easily by moving the optical fiber core in the axial direction.</p> |
