PURPOSE:To enable the installation of two flat motors having large power in a limited space by altering the disposition of a stator coil extending from the outer periphery of a permanent magnet. CONSTITUTION:When the number of poles of permanent magnet of a flat motor are represented by P and the number of stator coils is represented by n, n pieces of coils are disposed at the position which satisfy the equation (1) of the opening angle alpha of two center lines of the adjacent stator coils with respect to the center of the rotor. For example P=8 and n=3, the angle alpha is equal to 75 deg.. When the coils are thus disposed, all three stator coils 8-1-8-3 are not extending from the surface contacted with the permanent magnet 3 at the point B on the outer periphery of the magnet 3. In this manner, two flat motors having larger powder can be installed in the limited space. |
