PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy of the assembly of a picture displayer by stacking accelerating electrodes over parallel electrodes which are one part of a grid-like anode electrode, placing a striped deflection electrode perpendicularly to the said accelerating electrodes, and providing positioning marks on the surface of the accelerating electrode. CONSTITUTION:Black stripe layers 36 and red, green and blue color emitting phosphor stripes 37, 38 and 39 are alternately formed over a transparent glass plate 27. Next, a grid-like anode electrode consisting of first anodes 35 and second anodes 34 is placed so that the second anodes 34 are parallel to the stripe layere 36. After that, accelerating electrode plates 29 constituting striped electrodes 32 are placed over the first anodes 35, and a striped deflection electrode 26 is placed over the accelerating electrodes plates 29 perpendicularly to the plates 29. Then, marks 32a and 32b are provided over the plates 29 so as to facilitate the positional restriction during the assembly. Consequently, the accuracy of the arrangement of the electrode is enhanced. |
