PURPOSE:To facilitate the flattening of a pulse motor by arranging concentrically and planly poles and coils. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 4 is rotatably mounted on a stator 1 via a ball bearing 3 to form a flat pulse motor. The stator 1 has salient poles 5-8 of 4 phases, which are concentrically arranged and each of which is displaced by 1/4 pitch. (1/n in case of n phase). There are also provided exciting coils 9, 10 wound circumferentially and a permanent magnet 11 magnetized radially. On the other hand, the rotor 4 is concentrically and radially provided with salient poles of the same number as the stators 1. Since the poles and the coils are thus arranged concentrically and planly, the flattening of the motor can be facilitated. Even if the array of the stators and rotors is formed reversely, the same effect can also be obtained. |
