PURPOSE:To provide a multi-color heat sensitive recording paper with excellent color separation and no color on the base texture by piling on a supporting body a high temperature color developing dye, low temperature color developing dye, developing agent and a softening point regulating agent successively. CONSTITUTION:A first layer is formed which contains firstly a color developing agent comprising a high temperature color developing leuco dye that is capable of developing color at relatively high temperature and a developing agent that consists of an acid material and can make this color developing agent develop color at high temperature on a supporting body of high quality paper or plastic film or others. Next, a second layer is provided which contains a color developing agent that consists of low temperature leuco dye that is capable of developing color at relatively low temperature, and further, a third layer is piled which consists of a developing agent and a softening point regulating agent that is a material to regulate the softening point of the color developing agent or the developing agent and has a low meling point. As a softening point regulating agent, for example, plant wax, paraffin series materials can be named. |
