PURPOSE:To enable internal turning and longitudinal shaping without changing a whole arrangement, by mounting a turning tool holder and a milling electric speed reducer on a tool rest and building a turning and a shaping feed units in the same machine. CONSTITUTION:For internal cylindrical turning, a work 15 is secured in a position shown by a chain line and a boring bar 5 is rotated by a rotatory driver 1 and a tool holder 8 is also rotated so that the required surface of the work is turned by a turning tool 7 mounted on the tool holder. At that time, the tool holder 8 is rotatively moved by a feed screw 4 rotated by automatic rotary feed caused by the rotation of the boring bar 5. For longitudinal shaping, a milling electric speed reducer 10 is mounted on a tool rest 6 and a shaping tool 9 is rotated. At that time, a feed motor 13 is driven to feed the tool 9 through a gear means and the feed screw 4. |
