PURPOSE:To prevent the waste of a power source by detecting the charging state of a main capacitor to stop a converter by the first detector for the prescribed period of time and stopping separately the converter by the second detector for the prescribed period of time. CONSTITUTION:A DC/DC converter 3 such as a photographic strobe-like or the like charges a main discharging capacitor 4, and when its reaches the set voltage, a neon tube 6 is conducted, and a transistor 10 is conducted by the signal from the tube to stop the converter 3 for the prescribed period of time. On the other hand, the signal of the tube 6 is inputted to a comparator 14 to charge a capacitor 13, and when the value reaches the prescribed value, the transistor 10 is conducted by a comparator 11, thereby stopping the converter 3 for the prescribed period of time. Accordingly, since the converter 3 repeats the stop of oscillation and operation in plural modes by the charging state of a main discharging capacitor 4, the waste of a dry battery or the like 1 can be extremely reduced to improve the efficiency. |
