Guardrail bracket intended for use on roofs with eaves (1) that project from the connecting wall component, thereby forming a free underside (2) to the eaves. For each guardrail bracket, a fixture (9) positioned at said underside (2) is designed to bear a support piece (8) on the bracket. This support hangs in the fixture while a brace (10) on the bracket braces against a wall of the roof's building under influence of the weight of a guardrail (3) bearing component (5) of the bracket that projects out from the support in a opposite direction opposite to the position of the brace. The support (8) is forked and designed to enclose two sides of a roofing joist (13), which makes up part of the underside (2) of the eaves (1). Through open side notches (11), the support can be hooked over the projecting parts of the bolts (9) coming through the joist, forming said fixture. The support (8) is hereby attached to a rail (7) or similar of which one free end (10) forms the bracket's brace. This is positioned relative to the projection of the support (8), bolt (9), and eaves in such a way that said end piece is braced against the underside of the eaves, while the other end of the rail is connected to another, angled rail (6), which forms the part designed to bear the guardrail (3).<IMAGE> |
