PURPOSE:To render washing of a color photographic material unnecessary, by processing a silver halide color photographic material after color development, using a bleach fixing solution containing the iron salt of polycarboxylic acid and an aqueous solution of polycarboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide color photographic material is color developed with an aqueous alkaline solution containing an aromatic primary amine developing agent, such as 4-amino-N,N-diethylaniline, and then, processed with a bleach fixing solution containing the ferric salt of polycarboxylic acid, such as ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid. It is processed, without washing, with a 10- 60 deg.C aqueous solution containing the polycarboxylic acid by 1-100g/l for 30sec-2min, thus permitting stability of a color image to be enhanced and fogging due to aging, or the like problems to be solved. |
