PURPOSE:To expedite atomization of fuel and to suppress generation of tar, by optimizing the number of breather pores punched on both flame tubes confronting to the atomizer part of a wick protruding between both flame tubes, in a combustor havng a combustion tube consisting of both internal and external flame tubes and an outer case which are coaxially provided to each other. CONSTITUTION:A combustion tube 1 is built such that both an internal and an external flame tubes 2 and 3 and an oute case 4 are almost coaxially arranged to each other. A wick 9 is interposed, vertically and movably, between the outside of flame tubes 6 and 7, fixed by a wick metal press-fitting 8, and the top part of a wick 9 is protruded as a fuel atomizer 9a, into a combustion chamber 5 formed between both internal and external flame tubes 2 and 3. A plurality of breatherpores 12 and 13 are provided to the side walls of both flame tubes 2 and 3. In this case, the breather pores which confront to a fuel atomizer part 9a of a wick 9 in the lower parr of an internal flame tube 2 constitute pores 12a-12c, and the number of breather pores is gradually decreased toward the direction of the upper part. A bulkhead 10, having a plurality of ventiating holes 11a and 11b, is provided to the inside of an internal flame tube 2,in addition, a top plate 15, having a plutality of ventilating holes 14, is provided to the upper part of the tube 2. |
